KP Group to develop hydrogen and EV fuel stations in Gujarat

KP Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of Gujarat to establish hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV) fuel stations across the state. This initiative, part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference 2025, aims to strengthen Gujarat's clean energy ecosystem.

The MoU outlines an investment of ₹8,000 crore by KP Group to create a state-wide network of these fuel stations, projected to generate approximately 1,000 employment opportunities. The government of Gujarat will facilitate necessary permissions and approvals for the project, ensuring timely and smooth implementation.

dr. Faruk G. Patel, founding promoter of KP Group, emphasized that this collaboration marks a milestone in India's clean-energy transition, creating a robust refuelling ecosystem for hydrogen and electric vehicles. The project aims to enable industries and public transport to adopt cleaner fuels, reinforcing Gujarat's position in sustainable infrastructure development.
