Goodluck Defence to significantly boost empty shell production

Goodluck India Limited announced on October 10, 2025, that its material subsidiary, Goodluck Defence and Aerospace Limited, plans to expand its production capacity for empty shells. The company aims to increase manufacturing from 150,000 units to 400,000 units, representing an addition of 250,000 shells.

This expansion is projected to be completed within one year and requires an estimated investment of approximately INR 500 Crore. The necessary funds will be raised through a combination of debt and equity financing.

The decision to expand is driven by significant enquiries and heavy demand for empty shells following the subsidiary's receipt of a commercial production license. The company believes it is the opportune moment to enhance its production capabilities to meet market needs.
