Brightcom Group forms defence subsidiary, centralizes funds

Brightcom Group Limited, at its board meeting on October 10, 2025, approved the formation of Brightcom Defence Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary. This new entity, headquartered in Hyderabad, will focus on AI-driven command, control, and communication systems, decision-support platforms, and autonomous intelligence applications. The initial team will consist of 25-30 specialists, with plans to expand to around 100 personnel within a year.

The board also approved a structured centralization mechanism for subsidiary funds to streamline cash management and optimize resource allocation. This involves transferring surplus operational funds from subsidiaries to the parent company to improve liquidity visibility and enhance capital efficiency. Enabling resolutions for a potential future fundraise were withdrawn, deemed not immediately necessary given current business priorities.

In a strategic collaboration, Brightcom Group Limited ratified a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Project DYNAMO, Inc., a U.S.-based humanitarian organization. Brightcom's defence division will integrate its AI-driven systems into Project DYNAMO's disaster-relief and evacuation missions, focusing on crisis management and national preparedness. The board reviewed the H1 FY2025-26 operational and financial performance, noting continued stability in AdTech operations and progress in collections management, alongside moderate digital advertising market growth of 6-8% in key regions.
