Mahindra & Mahindra reports strong September 2025 performance

Mahindra & Mahindra reported strong operational results for September 2025, with total production reaching 99,758 units, a notable increase from 80,179 units in September 2024. Total sales also saw a positive trend, climbing to 97,744 units from 85,800 units in the prior year. Exports experienced a substantial boost, rising to 4,458 units compared to 3,094 units in September 2024.

The utility vehicles segment was a significant contributor to this growth, with production surging to 94,841 units in September 2025 from 76,878 units in September 2024. Sales in this category also saw an uplift, reaching 93,660 units compared to 82,366 units year-over-year. Key models such as the Thar+Thar Roxx (Diesel) and Scorpio (Diesel) demonstrated strong performance in both production and sales. Electric Origin SUV production specifically saw a remarkable increase to 5,959 units from zero in September 2024, with sales reaching 4,320 units.

Commercial Vehicles, including three-wheelers and other commercial vehicles, also posted healthy figures. Production for commercial vehicles increased to 29,096 units in September 2025 from 23,300 units in September 2024, while sales grew to 28,494 units from 24,694 units. Exports for commercial vehicles reached 1,918 units, up from 1,337 units in the previous year. This segment's performance underscores broad-based growth across Mahindra & Mahindra's product categories.
