Biocon amends employee welfare trust deed, new trustee appointed

Biocon Limited disclosed an amendment to its India Limited Employees Welfare Trust Deed, effective October 9, 2025. This marks the sixth amendment to the trust deed, originally established on May 18, 2001. The primary purpose of this amendment is to modify the trustee structure of the Biocon India Limited Employees Welfare Trust.

According to the amendment, Ms. Renuka Ganesh has resigned as a trustee, with her departure effective at the close of business hours on October 8, 2025. Concurrently, Ms. Maninder Kapoor Puri has been appointed as a new trustee, effective October 9, 2025. This change was made by mutual consent of the Settlor and the new trustee.

Following these changes, the board of trustees, as outlined in Article 8 of the trust deed, will now comprise Mr. Krishnachar Nandakumar and Ms. Maninder Kapoor Puri, effective October 9, 2025. The company has submitted a copy of the amended deed to the relevant authorities, requesting acknowledgement.
