BHEL seeks to enforce ₹107.75 crore arbitration awards

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) announced the filing of three execution petitions on October 9, 2025, to enforce arbitration awards against Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. These petitions, filed before the Commercial Court in Jaipur, relate to awards granted in BHEL's favor concerning various power projects.

The first petition involves the Kota 7 project, where BHEL is seeking to enforce an award totaling ₹25.48 crore. The second and third petitions concern the Suratgarh 6 project and the Chhabra 1 & 2 projects, respectively. For the Suratgarh 6 project, allowed claims amount to ₹28.04 crore, while for the Chhabra projects, allowed claims are ₹54.23 crore.

Collectively, these filings represent BHEL's efforts to recover ₹107.75 crore through the enforcement of these arbitration awards. The company stated that this disclosure is made pursuant to Regulation 30 (4) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015.
