United Spirits names veteran Narayan Seshadri independent director

United Spirits Limited, a Diageo India company, announced the appointment of Narayan K Seshadri as an additional director (non-executive, independent director), effective October 9, 2025. This decision, based on the recommendation of the nomination and remuneration committee, was approved during a board meeting on October 8, 2025. Mr. Seshadri's tenure will be for a period of three years, subject to shareholder approval.

Mr. Seshadri brings over 42 years of distinguished corporate experience, including his role as a qualified chartered accountant. He previously served as managing partner of KPMG's business advisory practice in India and was a member of Andersen's Global CEO Advisory Council. His extensive career includes working with large Fortune 500/FTSE 100 companies, as well as with start-ups across various international jurisdictions.

Furthermore, Mr. Seshadri is the founder and a board member of Tranzmute Capital & Management Pvt. Ltd., a firm focused on providing management and capital structuring ideas for entrepreneurs and family businesses. He has affirmed that he is not debarred from holding the office of director by any SEBI order or other authority.
