Infibeam Avenues' subsidiary launches India's first agentic payment platform

Phronetic AI, an AI tech company backed by Infibeam Avenues Ltd, announced the launch of PayCentral.ai on October 8, 2025. This platform is India's first agentic payment platform, allowing AI agents to transact on behalf of merchants and enterprises. PayCentral.ai integrates with existing payment gateway providers and other payment platforms, using Google's AP2 (Agent Payment Protocol) and built on top of multiple payment aggregators' MCPs for unified payment orchestration.

The platform enables AI agents to create dynamic payment links, manage refunds, handle subscriptions, and reconcile accounts autonomously. Key features include universal interoperability across various payment service providers, an aggregator-first architecture starting with CCAvenue for broad market reach, and autonomous merchant services. All transactions are secure and auditable through Phronetic's Agent Operating System, with compliance-ready logs and sovereign data deployment within geographical borders.

This development is expected to unlock micropayments, recurring billing, and AI-driven commerce on a national scale. Infibeam Avenues Ltd, a global fintech company, reported processing transactions worth INR 8.67 trillion in FY25, serving over 10 million clients across digital payments and enterprise software platforms.
