IIFL Home Finance names Girish Kousgi as new managing director and CEO

IIFL Finance Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Girish Kousgi as the managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) of its material subsidiary, IIFL Home Finance Limited. The appointment is effective from October 30, 2025, for a period of five years or until his superannuation, whichever comes earlier.

Mr. Kousgi brings nearly three decades of experience in the financial sector, encompassing banking and finance. His expertise spans managing assets and liabilities, mortgage, retail lending, SME, and agri business. He has held senior leadership roles at institutions such as PNB Housing Finance Limited and Can Fin Homes Limited, along with key positions at Tata Capital Financial Services Limited, IDFC Bank Limited, and ICICI Bank Limited.

Mr. Kousgi holds an Executive Masters Diploma in Business Administration and a graduate degree in Commerce. The company confirmed that Mr. Kousgi is not related to any other director of IIFL Home Finance Limited.
