ICICI Prudential Fund exceeds 5% stake in R R Kabel

On October 7, 2025, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund announced that its schemes acquired 253,463 equity shares of R R Kabel Ltd. on October 6, 2025. This acquisition, conducted via the secondary market, increased the fund's total shareholding to 5,877,807 shares, representing 5.198% of R R Kabel's paid-up capital. Before this transaction, the fund held 5,624,344 shares, equivalent to 4.974% of the company.

The acquisition caused the fund's stake to exceed the 5% threshold, triggering a disclosure under SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund clarified that this holding is for investment purposes and not to seek a controlling interest in R R Kabel.

R R Kabel Ltd.'s total equity share capital stands at ₹565,431,165, comprising 113,086,233 shares with a face value of ₹5 each.
