EPL announces Bakshi to succeed Kripalu as global CEO

EPL Limited’s board of directors approved a leadership transition plan at its meeting on October 8, 2025. Anand Kripalu will retire as managing director & global CEO on December 31, 2025. He will then serve as an executive director from January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026, and subsequently as a non-executive, non-independent additional director from April 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.

Hemant Bakshi has been appointed chief executive officer - designate, effective October 13, 2025, and will assume the role of managing director & global CEO from January 1, 2026, for a five-year term, also subject to shareholder approval. Bakshi brings over 30 years of FMCG industry experience, including leadership roles at Unilever and founding GroNext Technologies, a B2B marketplace that scaled to 12 markets with over $1 billion in GMV.
