Crompton Greaves secures first major solar rooftop order

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited (CGCEL) has secured its first order for a solar rooftop project, valued at approximately Rs. 51.59 Crores (exclusive of GST). This order marks the company's entry into the solar rooftop business, an initiative announced recently.

The contract involves the supply of a comprehensive solar rooftop system, including inverters, ACDB (AC Distribution Box), DCDB (DC Distribution Box), and solar modules, for households in the state of Telangana, India.

The company highlighted that this achievement comes shortly after the announcement of its foray into the solar rooftop sector. The order does not involve any related party transactions nor does the promoter group have any interest in this specific award.
