Carborundum Universal board approves reclassification of promoter group entities

Carborundum Universal Limited (CUMI) confirmed its board of directors, at a meeting held on October 8, 2025, approved the reclassification requests from M/s. Coromandel Engineering Company Limited (CECL) and M/s. Yanmar Coromandel Agrisolutions Private Limited (YCAS). These entities, previously listed in the promoter group category, are now designated as 'outgoing members of the promoter group'.

The approval follows earlier intimations on August 29, 2025, and September 17, 2025, regarding the receipt of these reclassification requests. The board confirmed the eligibility of CECL and YCAS pursuant to Regulation 31A(3)(b) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Both outgoing members have undertaken to comply with the requirements specified in Regulation 31A(4) of the listing regulations.

The reclassification remains subject to receiving no-objection from the stock exchanges, as per Regulation 31A of the listing regulations.
