REC appoints ajay kumar as new executive director

REC Limited has informed stock exchanges of a change in its senior management, effective October 7, 2025. Ajay Kumar has been promoted to executive director of the company. This appointment falls within the senior management tier, one level below the board of directors.

Kumar holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and brings over 30 years of experience within the power sector. Prior to this promotion, he served as senior general manager (engineering) at REC. The company clarified that there are no relationships between directors requiring disclosure in connection with this appointment.

This intimation was made pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
