Rajasthan Gases appoints new independent director, reconstitutes committees

Rajasthan Gases Limited has appointed Jiteshkumar N. Agrawal as an additional non-executive independent director for a five-year term, from October 7, 2025, to October 6, 2030, pending shareholder approval. This appointment coincides with the resignation of Tirth Tapan Mazumdar as an independent director, effective at the close of business on October 7, 2025, due to pre-occupation and other personal commitments.

Following Mazumdar's resignation, the company has reconstituted its audit, nomination and remuneration, and stakeholder relationship committees. Agrawal will join these committees as a member. Additionally, Arpit Ashok Khemani has been appointed as the chairperson of the audit committee, and Agrawal will chair the nomination and remuneration committee.

Agrawal holds a bachelor's degree in law and has successfully cleared the independent director examination by IICA. He is also a business partner in his family business, bringing valuable experience in operations, decision-making, and strategic planning to the board. He is not related to the company's directors or key managerial personnel and is not debarred from holding office.
