Maithan Alloys sells Byrnihat unit capital assets for INR 25.48 crore

Maithan Alloys Limited has disclosed the sale of capital assets belonging to its manufacturing unit in Byrnihat, Meghalaya. The agreement for sale was executed on October 3, 2025, with the transaction completed on the same date. The company received INR 25.48 crore, including GST, as consideration for the sale. The delay in disclosure was attributed to ongoing holidays in West Bengal.

The buyer, BODHI PREMIER LLP (LLPIN AAL-8507), with a registered office in Upper Baliyan, Umtru Road Byrnihat, Meghalaya - 793101, is not a promoter, promoter group, or group company of Maithan Alloys. The transaction is not considered a related party transaction.

For the financial year 2024-25, the Byrnihat unit contributed INR 111.29 crore (6.12%) to the company's total turnover of INR 1819.66 crore. Its total revenue was INR 112.17 crore, representing 4.41% of the company's INR 2546.27 crore total revenue. The net worth contribution from the Byrnihat unit was INR 300.76 crore, or 8.16% of the company's INR 3684.59 crore net worth.
