Bharat Forge's appeal against Pune Cantonment Board assessment dismissed by court

Bharat Forge Limited announced today, October 7, 2025, that the Pune District Court upheld an assessment notice from the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB). The court dismissed the company's appeal challenging the assessment notice dated November 30, 2022, and associated bills for fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25. The order, received by the company today, validates the legality of the PCB's assessment.

The company is exploring options to challenge this order. Despite the legal outcome, Bharat Forge confirmed that there is no cash outflow arising from this order, as the demanded amount has already been discharged. The litigation also has no impact on the company's operations or other activities.

This update follows Bharat Forge's prior intimation on August 14, 2023, regarding the ongoing litigation with the Pune Cantonment Board.
