Bondada Engineering secures major solar street light project in Bihar

Bondada Engineering Limited has secured a letter of intent (LOI) from the Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Bihar, valued at INR 63,86,59,000 (including GST). This LOI is for the implementation of Phase-IV of the Mukhyaministri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana, a scheme designed to enhance rural infrastructure through solar-powered street lighting systems.

The project encompasses three districts in Bihar: Bhojpur, targeting 9,150 solar street lights; Gopalganj, targeting 7,850 solar street lights; and Rohtas, targeting 3,510 solar street lights. The work is to be executed by Bondada E&E Private Limited (Beelite), a subsidiary of Bondada Engineering Limited, within 90 days from the receipt of the work order.

This domestic order underscores Bondada Engineering's growing presence in the renewable energy and rural electrification segments. The company expects this initiative to contribute positively to its order book and future revenue streams, further solidifying its position in the region.
