JSW Energy adds 114 MW renewable capacity, boosting total to 13,211 MW

JSW Energy announced the successful commissioning of 114 MW of renewable energy capacity in September 2025. This addition comprises 21 MW of solar and 93 MW of wind capacity, increasing the company's total installed capacity to 13,211 MW.

The cumulative organic renewable energy capacity added during Q2 FY26 now stands at 443 MW, including 20 MW of floating solar capacity at Vijayanagar. Renewables constitute 57% of JSW Energy's total capacity, with 3,709 MW from wind, 2,213 MW from solar, and 1,631 MW from hydro.

JSW Energy's total locked-in generation capacity is 30.5 GW, with 13.2 GW operational, 12.5 GW under construction, 150 MW under acquisition, and a 4.6 GW pipeline. The company aims for 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage by FY 2030, targeting Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
