Vodafone Idea appoints Tejas Mehta as new chief financial officer

Vodafone Idea Limited announced changes to its key managerial personnel, with Mr. Murthy GVAS concluding his tenure as chief financial officer and key managerial personnel on October 5, 2025. Effective October 6, 2025, Mr. Tejas Mehta will assume the roles of chief financial officer and key managerial personnel. The board of directors approved these changes during a meeting held on October 3, 2025, following recommendations from the audit and nomination and remuneration committees.

Mr. Tejas Mehta, aged 49, joins Vodafone Idea from Mondelēz India, where he served as CFO. He brings over 25 years of diverse experience across Indian and international markets, having previously held senior leadership positions including group finance controller in London, and CFO roles in Thailand and Turkey. A chartered accountant since 1997, Mr. Mehta began his career at Marico Industries and joined Mondelez India in 2002.
