Ravindra Energy secures 120 MW solar power project in Maharashtra

Ravindra Energy Limited (REL) has received two Letters of Award (LOA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to develop and operate solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with an aggregate capacity of 120 MW(AC). These projects fall under the 'Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0,' a scheme aimed at implementing feeder-level solarization under Component C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme.

The 120 MW(AC) projects will be strategically spread across 23 sub-stations of MSEDCL. As part of this agreement, MSEDCL will enter into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with REL, solidifying a long-term revenue stream for the company and contributing to the region's green energy initiatives. The announcement was made on October 3, 2025.
