Kansai Nerolac invests in Sri Lankan subsidiary, maintains 60% stake

Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited has made a further investment in its Sri Lankan subsidiary, Kansai Paints Lanka (Private) Limited, as disclosed in an announcement dated October 3, 2025. This follows an earlier intimation on August 4, 2025. The Sri Lankan subsidiary has allotted 3,333,333,333 ordinary shares to Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited.

The equity contribution by Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited for this issue of shares amounts to LKR 30 Crores. Despite this fresh investment and the issuance of new shares, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited's percentage shareholding in Kansai Paints Lanka (Private) Limited remains unchanged at 60% of the paid-up share capital.

The investment ensures the company’s continued strategic interest in its Sri Lankan operations. The information was provided to the stock exchanges as per Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
