Goodluck India subsidiary gets license for artillery shell manufacturing

Goodluck India Limited announced that its subsidiary, Goodluck Defence & Aerospace Limited, has received an industrial license under the Indian Arms Act, 1959, for manufacturing medium-caliber artillery shells of various sizes, including 105mm, 120mm, 125mm, 130mm, and 155mm. This license covers types such as HE M107, ERFB, ERFB BB, and ERFB BIT.

With an initial manufacturing capacity of 150,000 shells per annum, Goodluck Defence plans to commence trial production in Q3FY26, swiftly transitioning to full-scale commercial operations. This initiative aligns with India's 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' objective and is expected to unlock substantial revenue streams for Goodluck India Limited.

Additionally, Goodluck India Ltd, along with BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Ltd and Axiscades Technologies Ltd, has entered a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the Development of the Advance Medium Combat Aircraft ('AMCA') programme. An Expression of Interest (EOI) for this program has been successfully filed.
