DOMS subsidiary faces GST demand notice for alleged tax credit violations

DOMS Industries Limited has disclosed that its subsidiary, Uniclan Healthcare Private Limited, received a Show Cause cum Demand Notice from the Office of the Commissioner of Central GST and Central Excise, Thane. The notice, issued under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, covers the period from April 2021 to March 2025. The intimation to the stock exchanges was made on October 3, 2025.

The notice alleges violations related to the wrong availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) on GST and the utilization of ITC without the actual receipt of goods/services. As a result, the authority has demanded a payment of GST of ₹5,26,294 and a penalty of ₹44,84,298.

Uniclan is currently evaluating appropriate legal remedies and plans to file a response within the prescribed time limit. DOMS Industries has stated that there is no material impact on the financial, operations, and/or other activities of the company due to the notice.
