Shivam Autotech receives tax notice from Haryana department

On October 2nd, 2025, Shivam Autotech Limited announced the receipt of a show cause notice dated October 1st, 2025, from the Office of Excise & Taxation Department, Haryana. The notice demands tax, interest, and penalties under Section 73 of the CGST/HGST Acts, 2017.

The alleged violations stem from a mismatch in ITC: GSTR-2A/2B vs GSTR-3B and late filing of GSTR 3B for the financial year 2021-22. The proposed tax liability amounts to INR 96,11,406.7, with a penalty of INR 75,87,696.86 and interest of INR 1,00,000.

Shivam Autotech maintains that it has a strong case on the merits, viewing the notice as a matter of reconciliation without merit. The company plans to make its submissions to the appropriate forum within the given timelines, stating that there will be no impact on its financial, operational, or other activities.
