SMC Global Securities' promoter group entity boosts stake with $5.14 crore acquisition

Global Telecommunication Private Limited, part of the promoter group of SMC Global Securities Limited, has disclosed an acquisition of equity shares, increasing its stake in the company. The transaction, reported under SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, involved a total value of INR 5,14,44,991.86.

The acquisition comprised 210,000 shares at INR 139.07 per share, totaling INR 29,204,991.86, and an additional 160,000 shares at INR 139 per share, amounting to INR 22,240,000. These market purchases were completed between September 29, 2025, and October 1, 2025, with the disclosure submitted on October 1, 2025.

Following the acquisition, Global Telecommunication Private Limited's equity shareholding increased from nil to 370,000 shares, representing 0.35% of the company's equity. This reflects a notable change in the promoter group's investment in SMC Global Securities Limited.
