Sky Gold appoints seasoned banking professional Virupakshi Kolla as independent director

Sky Gold & Diamonds Limited announced the appointment of Virupakshi Kolla as an additional director in the non-executive, independent director category. The appointment, effective October 1, 2025, follows a board meeting and is subject to shareholder approval. Kolla's term is five years.

Kolla brings over 36 years of extensive banking expertise, covering corporate finance, client relationship management, credit, risk management, compliance, and branch banking. He has significant experience in the gems & jewellery sector, including export and FEMA-related compliances, with a strong focus on portfolio management for Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Throughout his tenure at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kolla successfully led new client acquisitions and headed the gems & jewellery sector. He is recognized for his credit acumen, relationship-driven corporate banking skills, leadership, and governance exposure, balancing risk management with growth imperatives.
