Shriram AMC appoints Amit Modani as senior fund manager, lead for fixed income

Shriram Asset Management Company Ltd. (Shriram AMC) has appointed Amit Modani as senior fund manager and lead – fixed income, effective October 1, 2025. This strategic move aims to enhance the company's investment strategy and assets under management (AUM), particularly in fixed income markets, to assist investors in building resilient debt portfolios. Modani brings over 13 years of experience in fixed income, including managing a diverse range of funds at Mirae Asset Mutual Fund and portfolios at BOI Mutual Fund and PGIM Mutual Fund.

Kartik Jain, managing director and chief executive of Shriram AMC, expressed confidence that Modani's strong track record in managing fixed income strategies, coupled with his data-led and market understanding, makes him an ideal fit for the company's quantamental investment platform. This appointment is expected to further strengthen Shriram AMC's debt portfolio and deliver differentiated solutions to meet evolving investor needs.

Modani, a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, also shared his enthusiasm, highlighting the critical role of well-managed fixed income in providing stable, risk-adjusted returns and capital preservation for investors.
