RMC Switchgears secures ₹100 crore Rajasthan power distribution orders

RMC Switchgears Limited has secured orders totaling ₹100.19 crore for power distribution infrastructure projects in Rajasthan. Suncity Urja Pvt. Ltd. awarded the contracts under Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) within the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

The orders include a ₹33.80 crore contract for supplying and developing distribution infrastructure to reduce losses in Kota Circle, and a ₹66.39 crore contract for supplying and erecting items for distribution network development in Jhalawar Circle, Jaipur Discom. These projects aim to modernize the grid, reduce technical and commercial losses, and enhance power supply quality and reliability in Rajasthan.

RMC Switchgears emphasized that these orders reinforce its execution capabilities and support the RDSS objectives of loss reduction and improved reliability across India's power grid. The company also highlighted its expanding role in solar EPC, green energy projects, and water management infrastructure.
