Maruti Suzuki sees production surge, record exports in September

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced its production volume for September 2025 reached 201,915 units, a substantial increase from 159,743 units in September 2024. This growth was primarily fueled by strong performance in the passenger vehicle segment, which saw 198,316 units produced in September 2025, compared to 156,709 units in the same month last year.

In a related press release, the company reported total sales of 189,665 units in September 2025. This includes domestic sales of 135,711 units, sales to other OEMs of 11,750 units, and record-breaking exports of 42,204 units. The GST reform positively impacted customer sentiment, leading to 165,000 deliveries in the first 8 days of Navratri, despite logistical constraints affecting domestic wholesale figures towards the end of the month.
