Ashok Leyland reports 9% sales growth in September

Ashok Leyland reported total vehicle sales of 18,813 units in September 2025, a 9% increase compared to 17,233 units sold in September 2024. This growth was primarily driven by both domestic and export markets.

Domestic sales for September 2025 reached 17,209 units, marking a 7% rise from 16,041 units in the same month last year. Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) experienced a significant 15% increase in domestic sales, totaling 6,710 units, while Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) domestic sales grew by 3% to 10,499 units.

Cumulatively, total vehicle sales for the year up to September 2025 stood at 93,354 units, a 4% increase from 89,517 units in the corresponding period of the previous year. The M&HCV Bus segment showed a strong cumulative growth of 19%.
