Abans Financial Services names Bhargavi Halapeti company secretary

Abans Financial Services Limited (formerly Abans Holdings Limited) announced the appointment of Bhargavi Halapeti as the new company secretary and compliance officer, effective October 1, 2025. This appointment follows the relief of Sheela Gupta from her duties as company secretary and compliance officer at the close of business hours on October 1, 2025. The decision was made by the board of directors, based on the recommendation of the nomination remuneration and compensation committee.

Halapeti will also serve as the chief investor relations officer (CIRO) under the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015. Additionally, the board has designated her as a key managerial personnel (KMP) for determining the materiality of events and information, and for disclosures to stock exchanges under Regulation 30(5) of SEBI listing regulations.

The meeting of the board of directors, which approved these changes, commenced at 16:32 IST and concluded at 16:47 IST on October 1, 2025. The company's revised list of KMPs now includes Abhishek Bansal (managing director), Nirbhay Vassa (whole-time director & chief financial officer), and Bhargavi Halapeti (company secretary & compliance officer).
