SKF India appoints Kshipra Khairnar as head, legal counsel

SKF India Limited announced the appointment of Kshipra Khairnar as head – legal counsel, effective September 30, 2025. The decision was made by the board of directors following a recommendation from the nomination and remuneration committee. Khairnar will join the senior management team, a move aimed at strengthening the company's legal framework and strategic oversight.

Khairnar brings 19 years of experience as a corporate legal counsel, specializing in contract management, dispute resolution, legal risk mitigation, and corporate ethics within the automotive sector. Her qualifications include a master's degree in law, a bachelor's degree in commerce from Pune University, and a diploma in intellectual property laws. She is also a certified compliance and ethics professional with additional certifications in advance contract drafting and dispute management.

Her professional background includes roles at Magna Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. as legal counsel and Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited as deputy manager legal, in addition to her experience as a practicing lawyer. SKF India confirmed that Khairnar has no relationships with any of the company's directors, key managerial personnel, or promoters.
