RSWM releases sustainability report, highlights green milestones

RSWM Limited, a flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has released its Sustainability Report FY2024-25, detailing substantial progress in its environmental efforts. The company saved 2.23m KL of water through 100% reuse of treated wastewater and consumed 101.76m KW of renewable energy from solar and wind, accounting for 33% of its total energy dependency.

The report highlights RSWM's commitment to circularity, with 6.5m PET bottles recycled daily, totaling 43,250 metric tons of PET bottles recycled in FY2024-25. The company integrated 38,270 metric tons of recycled polyester and 11,674 metric tons of organic cotton into its production. Additionally, RSWM replaced coal with 14,714 metric tons of biofuels in its boilers, aiming to transition all manufacturing facility boilers to biofuels by FY2026. Social initiatives include reaching 244,000 beneficiaries through CSR interventions.

These efforts align with RSWM's Panchtatva philosophy, an integrated sustainability and innovation framework. The company also reported using 91,611 kg of organic manure to enhance soil health. RSWM's practices are validated by global certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and Global Recycle Standard.
