NHPC revises Bikaner solar project timeline, announces management changes

NHPC Limited has announced a revised commissioning schedule for the balance capacity of its 300 MW Karnisar solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The remaining 85.72 MW of the project, previously expected by September 30, 2025, is now likely to be commissioned by October 31, 2025. This update is in compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

In a separate announcement, NHPC also detailed changes within its senior management, specifically personnel one level below the board of directors. Shri Hasan Nadeem and Shri Vishal Kumar Saini will cease their roles on September 30, 2025 upon attaining the age of superannuation.

Effective October 1, 2025, Shri Pradip Kumar Ray, Shri Umesh Kumar Nand, and Shri Upendra Hajra will be appointed as executive directors through promotion. All three individuals joined NHPC on November 13, 1995, and each has 29 years of service, holding educational qualifications in electrical engineering; Shri Ray and Shri Nand also possess MBAs.
