NHPC announces senior management changes effective October 2025

NHPC Limited has informed stock exchanges about changes in its senior management personnel, one level below the board of directors. Shri Vishal Kumar Saini will cease to be part of senior management on September 30, 2025, upon attaining the age of superannuation.

Effective October 1, 2025, Shri Umesh Kumar Nand and Shri Upendra Hajra will be appointed to senior management positions through promotion. Both individuals hold a B.E. Electrical qualification and joined NHPC on November 13, 1995, accumulating 29 years of service. Shri Umesh Kumar Nand also holds an M.B.A., while Shri Upendra Hajra has an MBA (Finance). Shri Pradip Kumar Ray, currently designated as ED, also shares the same joining date and years of service with a B.E. Electrical qualification.
