IDFC FIRST Bank appoints Warburg Pincus' Narendra Ostawal as new director

IDFC FIRST Bank Limited announced the appointment of Narendra Ostawal as an additional director, effective September 30, 2025. Ostawal will serve as a non-executive non-independent director, nominated by Currant Sea Investments B.V., an affiliate of global growth investor Warburg Pincus LLC. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval and he is liable to retire by rotation.

Ostawal is a managing director and leads Warburg Pincus' investment advisory activities in India, having joined the firm in 2007. His prior experience includes roles at 3i India and McKinsey & Company. He holds a chartered accountancy degree and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

The bank confirmed that Ostawal is not related to any other director of the bank and is not debarred from holding a director's office by any SEBI order or authority. This disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.
