Coastal Corporation reappoints managing director, names new independent director

Coastal Corporation Limited shareholders, during their 44th annual general meeting on September 26, 2025, approved the re-appointment of Valsaraj Thottoli as managing director for a five-year term, effective September 28, 2025. Thottoli, a promoter of the company, has over four decades of global experience in marine products and merchandise export.

Additionally, Vasantharao Satya Venkata Rao was appointed as an independent director for a five-year term, effective August 14, 2025. Rao has over 32 years of experience in financial institutions, including a tenure as deputy managing director at the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).

The company also approved the appointment of M/s. A.V.V.S.S.CH.B. Sekhar Babu, Practicing Company Secretary, as secretarial auditors for a five-year term. These appointments aim to strengthen the company's governance and strategic direction.
