Bank of Maharashtra executive director steps down

Bank of Maharashtra announced that Asheesh Pandey has ceased to be the executive director of the bank, effective September 30, 2025. This change follows his appointment as managing director & chief executive officer (MD & CEO) at Union Bank of India.

The notification was issued in accordance with a directive from the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The bank communicated this development to both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). The information was provided in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The announcement was formally made by Vishal Sethia, company secretary & compliance officer for Bank of Maharashtra, on September 30, 2025.
