Adani Green Energy boosts renewable capacity with new Gujarat projects

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced the operationalization of an aggregate of 408.1 MW of power projects at Khavda, Gujarat, effective September 30, 2025. This expansion includes a mix of solar, wind, and hybrid projects across various stepdown subsidiaries. The largest contributions come from Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Limited (125 MW Hybrid), Adani Renewable Energy Forty One Limited (124.8 MW Wind), and Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited (87.5 MW Solar).

With the commissioning of these new plants, AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 16,486.1 MW. The decision to operationalize these plants and commence power generation was made on September 30, 2025, following relevant clearances.

The company’s subsidiaries involved in the operationalization include Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B Limited (5.4 MW Hybrid), Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited (30.4 MW Hybrid), and Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Six Limited (35 MW Hybrid). This strategic expansion underscores Adani Green Energy’s ongoing commitment to increasing its renewable energy footprint.
