LIC boosts stake in Voltas, crosses 5% threshold

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) acquired an additional 201,500 shares in Voltas Limited via a market purchase as of September 25, 2025. This transaction increased LIC's total holding to 16,710,784 shares.

The acquisition represents a 0.061% increase, raising LIC's overall stake in Voltas' equity share capital from 4.989% to 5.050%. Prior to this, LIC held 16,509,284 shares, representing 4.989% of Voltas' total share capital.

The total voting capital of Voltas Limited remains 330,884,740 shares both before and after the acquisition. This disclosure confirms LIC's position as a holder of over 5% of Voltas' shares, made under Regulation 29(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
