AXISCADES subsidiary wins Indian Army contract for counter-drone systems

On September 29, 2025, AXISCADES Technologies Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Private Limited, secured an order from the Indian Army. This contract is for the supply of Man Portable Counter Drone Systems (MPCDS), marking a key milestone as one of the first man-portable counter-drone orders placed under Operation Sindhoor's emergency procurement.

The new MPCDS units are designed to detect drones up to 5 km away and block their signals across a broad frequency range. These lightweight and portable systems will provide soldiers with reliable protection against hostile unmanned aerial threats, supporting India's defense forces with advanced, mission-ready, and domestically produced solutions.

According to Sharadhi Chandra Babu, president - defence at AXISCADES Technologies Limited, this order reinforces the Indian Army's trust in the company's next-generation indigenous counter-drone technologies, contributing to enhanced operational readiness and self-reliance.
