Orbit Exports appoints Raveena Modi as independent director

Orbit Exports Limited announced the appointment of Raveena Modi as an additional director in the category of non-executive independent director, effective September 27, 2025. The decision was made by the board of directors following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Her appointment is for a term of five years, subject to approval by members.

Modi brings extensive qualifications and experience to the board. She holds an LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai, and is a qualified company secretary with a background in accounting and finance. Her professional experience spans over nine years in corporate and commercial litigation, insolvency, bankruptcy proceedings, regulatory compliance, and real estate advisory, having previously worked with top-tier law firms.

Currently practicing independently in Hyderabad, Modi's expertise includes legal risk management, governance, and strategic advisory. She has contributed to regulatory policy through her work with SEBI's Working Group and has a strong track record in handling complex legal transactions and disputes. Orbit Exports confirmed that Modi is not debarred from holding the office of an independent director.
