Kamat Hotels reappoints independent director, names secretarial auditor

Kamat Hotels (India) Limited, in an announcement dated September 27, 2025, informed stock exchanges of changes approved at its 38th annual general meeting held on September 26, 2025. Shareholders re-appointed Vilas Ramchandra Koranne as an independent director for a second consecutive term of five years, effective from June 29, 2026, to June 28, 2031. Koranne, a B.E. (Civil) from Bombay University, previously served for 33 years in M.C. G. M. and has been a non-executive independent director since June 29, 2021.

Additionally, M/s. DM & Associates, Company Secretaries LLP, was appointed as the secretarial auditor of the company. This appointment is for a period of five years, commencing from April 1, 2025, to March 30, 2030, following the conclusion of the existing secretarial auditor’s tenure on March 31, 2025.
