Nirlon board approves Chandresh Ruparel as new independent director

Nirlon Limited's nomination and remuneration committee and board have approved the appointment of Chandresh Haridas Ruparel as an additional non-executive independent director. This appointment, effective September 26, 2025, is for a five-year term and is subject to shareholder approval via a special resolution through a postal ballot.

Ruparel brings extensive experience, having served as a director and senior advisor with Rothschild & Co. India for 22 years, leading their India business. His prior roles include positions at Lazard India and SBI Capital Markets. His expertise spans private capital raising, forming partnerships, divestitures, and acquisitions across various sectors.

Ruparel holds a BE (computers) graduate degree and an MBA (finance) from JBIMS, Mumbai. He currently does not hold any directorships in other companies, nor do he or his relatives hold shares in Nirlon Limited, ensuring independence in his new role.
