Ircon secures major railway infrastructure contract from North East Frontier Railways

Ircon International Limited has been awarded a composite work contract by North East Frontier Railways (NFR) valued at Rs. 224,49,98,704.8. This domestic project encompasses civil, electrical, mechanical, and signal & telecom construction activities.

The contract includes upgrading maintenance infrastructure for the energy-efficient Vande Bharat Express at Coaching Complex/NJP, constructing a GE Loco shed at SGUJ for housing 250 GE locos (WDG4G/WDG6G), and establishing New Jalpaiguri At-NJP Next Generation Freight Maintenance Facilities in the Katihar division. The project is slated for execution over an 18-month period.

This award, confirmed on September 26, 2025, aligns with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor any related group companies have an interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction is not considered a related party transaction.
