AU Small Finance Bank appoints interim CFO after Vimal Jain’s demise

AU Small Finance Bank Limited has appointed Gaurav Jain as its interim chief financial officer and key managerial personnel, effective September 26, 2025. This appointment follows the untimely demise of the former chief financial officer, Vimal Jain. Jain will hold the position until further updates are provided.

Jain is a chartered accountant with an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, bringing over 23 years of experience in banking and financial services. He joined AU Small Finance Bank in January 2021 and currently serves as president – finance & strategy.

The decision was made during the board of directors meeting held on September 26, 2025. The bank confirmed that details related to this change comply with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
