TVS Motor to open global design and engineering center in Italy

TVS Motor Company has announced the establishment of its Global Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Design and Engineering in Bologna, Italy, effective September 25, 2025. This initiative reinforces the company's vision to deliver premium, future-ready mobility solutions across international markets.

As part of this development, TVS Motor will acquire 100% ownership of Engines Engineering S.p.A., an Italian automotive design and engineering firm. This acquisition is expected to enhance TVS Motor's speed to market, product differentiation, and technological leadership, integrating Engines Engineering's expertise with TVS Motor's global R&D capabilities.

The CoE will focus on design leadership, engineering excellence, and future mobility technologies, aiming to advance capabilities in digital simulation, rapid prototyping, and modular platform development. It will also support Norton Motorcycles, TVS Motor’s British marque, in crafting modern luxury motorcycles with cutting-edge performance and design.
