Thomas Cook (India) Limited announced on September 25, 2025, a first-mover initiative in India's foreign exchange sector by partnering with Blinkit to offer forex retail services. This collaboration enables travelers to receive Thomas Cook's Borderless Travel Card and Study Buddy with doorstep delivery in minutes. The service is initially available in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, with plans for a phased rollout to other key source markets.

This strategic partnership addresses the growing consumer demand for speed and convenience in foreign exchange. Following an order on Blinkit, customers receive a blank forex card within minutes. Post-delivery, Thomas Cook India's dedicated forex team handles Video-KYC and card loading, ensuring customers are travel-ready within an hour, complete with activation instructions, a helpline, and secure portal access.

Deepesh Varma, executive vice president - foreign exchange, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, stated that this initiative redefines travel readiness by equipping customers within minutes, right at their doorstep. This move also aligns with the upcoming festival travel season and complements Thomas Cook's existing "Ghar Pe Forex" initiative and recent digital innovations.
