Shanthi Gears: Coromandel Engineering seeks reclassification to public shareholder

Shanthi Gears Limited announced on September 25, 2025, that it received a request for reclassification from M/s. Coromandel Engineering Company Limited. This entity, currently a member of the promoter and promoter group, seeks to transition its shareholding to the 'public' category. The request was formally received on September 24, 2025.

As of the date of the request letter, Coromandel Engineering held "Nil" paid-up equity shares and therefore "Nil" percentage of shareholding. This reclassification request is made under Regulation 31A of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

The proposed reclassification is subject to the approval of the board of directors of Shanthi Gears Limited, as well as regulatory bodies including the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
